We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter specialized in the installation of fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams, handling purchase orders, and executing installations for industrial projects. As a Site Foreman, you will oversee a team of 8 professionals, ensuring the successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation:
o Execute the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Team Management:
o Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 8 pipe fitters and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
o Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure high productivity and quality of work.
• Project Oversight:
o Serve as Site Foreman, managing the daily operations on construction sites and ensuring projects adhere to timelines and specifications.
o Review project plans and specifications, and provide input for efficient installation methods.
• Purchasing & Inventory:
o Prepare and manage purchase orders for materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
o Maintain a well-organized inventory, ensuring all materials are accounted for and readily available.
• Safety Compliance:
o Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with OSHA regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
• Client Interaction:
o Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
o Address any client concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in pipe fitting and fire sprinkler installation preferred.
• Minimum [5] years of experience in pipe fitting, with a focus on fire sprinkler systems.
• Proven experience as a foreman or in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in managing purchasing processes and inventory control.
