Supervision: Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu and standards.
Training: Train and mentor junior chefs, including Chef de Parties, Commis, and Kitchen Assistants.
Quality Control: Ensure the quality, quantity, temperature, and presentation of dishes meet the highest standards.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and rotation of stock.
Hygiene and Safety: Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Menu Development: Assist in developing and updating menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new ideas.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and safety checks.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, with several years of experience in a professional kitchen.
Culinary Skills: Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and management.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems efficiently.
Education: Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Certification: Relevant certifications (e.g., food safety, hygiene) are a plus
