Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the Production Lines on day-to-day basis. The post calls for a person who is efficiency driven and will be responsible for reduction of down time.

The core duties and responsibilities include:

1. To be responsible from a proper line start-up and efficient running of the Production lines.
2. To be the first person to intervene whenever breakdowns occur and implement the necessary corrective actions efficiently.
3. To be responsible for the cambio formato (changeover) while ensure that the production lines are well prepared for new production formats and that they are adequately set and properly maintained for the upcoming production runs.
4. To coach and mentor machine operators to work in an efficient manner.
5. To be responsible of achieving highest production efficiency and good quality production through proper routine and preventive maintenance and improvements on production lines.
6. To assist in the production planning and maintenance schedules and spare parts requirements.
7. To follow company’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures while ensuring that the required PPE is always worn.

Qualifications

Skills and Specifications

This post calls for a candidate who has 5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing working environment. Good communication and decision-making skills, diligent approach, and ability to lead effectively by example are important requisites for this post.
