PRO-INDUSTRIES in Malta is currently looking to recruit, Bricklayer / Gypsum Installer, workers to join their team on a Full-time basis.

The Role:

The chosen candidate would be a team player looking to be involved in the retaliation of specialized and innovative projects engineering solutions with a passion for detailing and execution on a range of exciting and prestigious new-build and refurbished projects.

Cuties and Responsibilities:

Laying bricks
Applying or removing mortar with a trowel
Working accurately from detailed plans and specifications
Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials
Using spirit levels and plumb lines to check building alignment
Using hand tools, power tools and brick-cutting machines
Constructing arches and ornamental brickwork
Repairing and maintaining building blocks
Measuring out build areas and setting out the first rows of bricks and damp course
Working outdoors on construction sites, in all weathers and at height.
Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to specifications provided by blueprints or project plans.
Secure drywall panels to walls, floors, and ceilings using appropriate tools and techniques.
Tape and mud joints between drywall panels to create a smooth and seamless finish.
Apply multiple layers of compound and sand surfaces to ensure a level and ready-to-paint surface.
Repair and patch existing drywall as needed, including reattaching loose or damaged panels.
Inspect finished surfaces for imperfections and make necessary corrections

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years working in construction, in a similar position.
A recognized qualification up to diploma level in the field would be considered an asset.
Experience in working with various trade machines, tools, and equipment and must be able to use these safely
Able to communicate effectively in English.
Able to stand for long hours, lift heavy objects and conduct repetitive motions.
Trained to work effectively at heights for installations purposes.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Able to work under pressure completing tasks with minimum supervision
