TORO TORO RESTAURANT LTD is a steakhouse restaurant and represents Latin American culinary diversity in the hospitality industry.
We are looking for a Food Runner with a passion for hospitality and a drive for excellence to oversee and operate our well-established and highly-acclaimed restaurant, TORO TORO at Mercury Tower by Zaha Hadid Architects.
*Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate the timely delivery of food orders to customers.
*Ensure accuracy in delivering the correct food items to the appropriate tables, adhering to order specifications and special requests.
*Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively communicate with customers and address any inquiries.
*Monitor food presentation and quality, promptly notifying kitchen staff of any discrepancies or issues.
*Assist in bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to ensure a clean and inviting dining area for customers.
*Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to prioritize orders and manage workload during peak dining hours.
*Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items, as well as cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
*Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any concerns or requests from customers in a courteous and professional manner.
*Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and cohesive work environment, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the restaurant operation.
*Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the daily operations and goals of the restaurant.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, focusing on accuracy and efficiency in food delivery.
*Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak dining hours.
*Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
*Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and procedures.
