Technical Assistant

We are looking for a Technical Assistant, the successful candidates will support our team with administrative and technical task. S/He will help ensure that company objectives are achieved and that all deadlines are met.
Duties
• Basic administrative task, filing documents, composing emails, printing documents, answering phones, creating reports and other task relative to the job.
• Basic technical assistance such as design and create drawing, setting parameters, checking doses, overseeing processes and other task relative to the job
• Provide technical assistance with equipment operation
• Setting equipment parameters
• Provide quick responses to production issues.
• Examine customer orders, staff, inventory and machinery capabilities to effectively set
• Monitor manufacturing performance and actively adjust schedules in response to the equipment failures or supply shortages.
• Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and cut down on production cost through more effective scheduling.
• Available to work on Saturdays.
Requirements
• Strong organisational and communications skills are also important.
• excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to adapt schedules in response to material shortages, equipment failures, or changes in customer orders
• strong math skills and be able to make precise calculations about material and staffing needs, production expectations, and manufacturing capabilities
• excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as the ability to apply the principles of manufacturing resource planning to daily operations
• Good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Maltese language will be an advantage.
• Proficiency with computer programs AUTOCAD, MS Office and database system
• Ability to read and interpret technical data
• Candidates applying for this position must be Maltese residing in Malta.

• bachelor’s degree. (Engineer, Economics or related to the position)
Experience
• Must have a minimum of 1year relevant experience in production control, inventory management, or planning.
