Sales Representative - Brewery

We have got a great sales vacancy here at The Huskie Craft Beer, working in the field with our customers all across the island of Malta.

This is a full-time contract with immediate start and includes a competitive salary structure (negotiable based on previous experience).

Our mission of bringing people together to enjoy and appreciate locally brewed craft beer started back in 2017. We launched our first beers in 2019, brewing top-quality craft beer to make Malta proud of. As demand for our beers increases we are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and driven person to join the team to handle existing customers and to grow sales with new ones. If you have the motivation and determination to work for one of Malta’s freshest and finest brands, a love of beer, pubs, bars, bottle shops, music, and helping people have a good time, then this could be the job for you!

You will be working closely with the founders and be responsible for driving distribution and increasing sales through your interaction with both retail and catering establishments. A main focus will be on building strong relationships with bar and bottle shop managers as well as winning new accounts.

We will expect you to deliver a high-level of service and customer care with a strong amount of enthusiasm and product knowledge. The role is primarily field based and you will be required to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing existing relationships within the region to maximise orders
- Winning new business to obtain more fixed draught lines and more client accounts
- Taking orders and coordinating with the delivery team
- Ensuring high levels of customer service
- Following and implementing sales strategies
- Organising tasting events, participating at beer festivals and other marketing events

Qualifications

Key Required Attributes

- Sales experience within the local drinks industry
- An understanding and passion for great beer, bars and restaurants
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Target driven
- Social media and Excel savvy
- The resilience, drive and motivation to work independently
- A clean driving licence
- High energy, coupled with a love of being out with customers
- Languages: Fluent in English. Being able to also communicate in Maltese and/or Italian will be considered an advantage.
- You must be legally residing in Malta
