Maintenance Person

MG Group runs award-winning Tarragon, Caviar & Bull Malta & Budapest, Susurrus, Don Royale and Dinner in the Sky Malta restaurants.

We are looking for a Maintenance Person on full-time basis to join our growing team. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out upkeep and repair works required at various restaurants. Working hours will be adapted to the business’ needs.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• To undertake minor plumbing, painting, decorating, carpentry and electrical and mechanical engineering
work at a basic level, as necessary to maintain safe and efficient systems within the group.
• To keep the mechanical, electrical and kitchen equipment in a good working order.
• Performing preventive maintenance procedures on building and equipment
• Performing electrical and plumbing maintenance
• Repairing plaster and drywall
• Painting internal and external
• May install cables and other equipment
• To respond to the maintenance requests as required giving a high standard of appearance throughout
the buildings.
• To have a basic understanding of the site and all items of plant and equipment.
• To be responsible for the control of contractors on site during projects.
• Any other duty as deemed suitable by the Managers.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• To be autonomous and self motivated.
• Good communication skills to all levels of personnel.
• Must be well-organised with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail is valued
greatly in this job
• Must be in possession of a valid driving licence.
• A basic level in the English Language.
