Main job responsibilities:
Posting of invoices and general ledger postings
Account and bank reconciliations
Issuing of payments
Handling credit control duties
Preparing accounts up to trial balance stage
Handling petty cash
Any other duties as may be required in order to be able to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Qualifications
You must be in possession of a minimum O'level in accounting
A minimum of 1 years previous local accounting experience is a requirement
A highly meticulous and proactive individual
Capable of sticking to deadlines
Eye for detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills in English and preferably Maltese
