Draughtsperson

E & L Enterprises is currently seeking to recruit a Draughtsperson on a full-time basis to form part of our Production Team. This role entails coordination and verbal communication with staff members and clients.

The Draughtsperson will be responsible for:

• Working closely with our Production Team to prepare shop drawings for manufacturing with comprehensive action plans and timeframes
• Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
• Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
• Measure and track project quantities during on-site visits
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

Requirements:

• Experience and Certification in 3 CAD drawings is an asset
• A clean driving license
• Computer literate
• Understand production methods and processes
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
