Junior Engineer/Technical Salesperson

The job objective is to issue quotations for projects, compilation of tender documents and assisting in the processing of contracts obtained by him/herself and/or other members of the sales team. The ideal candidate must use technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on our range of products and services.
Job Responsibilities:
• Calculating and offering quotations to clients
• Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
• Developing long-term relationships with clients and suppliers
• Meeting regular sales targets
• Proactively recruit new customers and increase market coverage
• Follow up of enquiries and quotations
• Bid preparation and submission of tenders.
• Ensuring adherence to company processes and procedures and other internal controls in all stages of the sales cycle.

Qualifications

Requirements and skills:
Qualification in Engineering
• Must have knowledge within the building and industrial automation industry;
• Have at least one-year experience within a similar role;
• Must have experience in local tendering procedures;
• Fluent in English;
• Must have a can-do attitude.
