We are looking for a TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT to be involved in different areas of the day to day accounting function, therefore gaining exposure to each area through our ‘On the job Training Scheme’.

Role
You will be processing accruals and prepayments, reconciling bank and creditors, assisting with the completion of VAT returns, producing accounts to a trial balance level, maintaining the general ledger accounts, assist in the monthly management accounts and financial statements, and any other duties which may be required from time to time.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a self-motivated individual who is keen to progress in an accounting role as further career progression will be offered. You need to have least 5 ACCA Modules, minimum 1 year working experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills in Maltese & English, excellent attention to detail with good analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work in a team toward your targets.
