AIS Group, founded in 1991, is made up of specialist companies operating in the engineering, computer software and environmental spheres. Companies within the Group are leaders in diverse markets including biometrics, energy management systems, software development, environmental consultancy and waste recycling. We are seeking to recruit a suitable person for the post of:
Accounting Officer
The selected candidate would join the Accounts department and shall report to the Accountant and Group Finance Director. He/she shall be responsible for the general accounting duties of particular companies within the Group. Training and coaching will be provided. His/her duties will include:
- Record and process expenditure using Sage Line 50
- Prepare and submit customer invoices
- Assist the accountant in general accounting duties including financial reporting to authorities
- Stock management

Qualifications

Applicants for this post should:
- Have a solid basic knowledge of accounts. Candidates with AAT, Advanced Diploma in Accounting would be preferred. An ‘A’ level qualification in Accounts is a minimum accepted qualification
- Be well versed in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Have good written and oral skills in both English and Maltese.
- Preferably be conversant in Sage Line 50.
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in the local market
