Job Description:
The company is now seeking to recruit an Accountant to assist the Group Financial Controller in the day to day operation of the finance function

Responsibilities will include:
• Posting transactions into our accounting system and other general accounting duties;
• Managing and reporting on cash and bank balances;
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts;
• Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts and involvement in the annual external audit;
• Contributing to the internal financial control framework;
• Providing help with other tasks/reports as required by the Group Financial Controller / Chief Financial Officer.

Qualifications

Education and Experience required:
• Hold an accounting qualification or is studying towards the ACCA qualification;
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience in similar role;
• Be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Microsoft Excel;
• Knowledge of Sage Pastel Evolution would be considered an asset
