Assistant Shipping Operations Clerk

The assistant shipping operations clerk will be helping in daily duties and clerical work required in the proper administration of the company's vessels. The selected candidate will assist in the scheduling of provisions, preparation and submission of documentation to the relevant authorities planning and organising crew travel arrangements and other duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the vessels.

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Candidate must be in possession of a valid a driving licence and have own transport.

Qualifications

Very good command of English and Italian, written and spoken is a must.
Knowledge of Arabic and/or French would be an asset.
Preference shall be given to applicants with experience in a similar position.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a must.
