THE TASKS:
- Assign tasks between you and the maintenance technician, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Schedule shifts efficiently to ensure comprehensive coverage and response to maintenance needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and individual growth.
- Act swiftly and decisively in response to any maintenance emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to guest experience.
- Safeguard hotel facilities and equipment, prioritizing safety and efficiency in maintenance practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing and electrical systems, promptly addressing any issues or potential hazards.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations as required.
- Monitor utility consumption and implement strategies to optimize energy efficiency, contributing to cost reduction efforts.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in all maintenance activities.
- Implement a Preventative Maintenance Programme
- Foster a culture of excellence by promoting and enforcing SOPs among team members.
- Embody and champion the Group's values, serving as a role model for the team.
- Maintain professional and friendly relationships with guests, team members, and contractors, enhancing the hotel's reputation for exceptional service.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and plumbing issues.
- Knowledge on preventive maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards for plumbing and electrical work.
- Working on own initiative, analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with
available resources and to a high degree of quality.
- Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and handle unexpected maintenance challenges.
- Clear and effective communication with team members, other departments, and external contractors.
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail
- Is flexible to be on-call
- Fluent in spoken and written English
