It allows you to operate the camera to shoot or photograph, either at eye level or at a lower level (handheld or mounted on a tripod), with a clear and bright view.
Its universal support plate allows you to adapt the viewer to the machine's LCD screen. The distance is adjustable horizontally, vertically and in depth (presence of two guides underneath the device), all of which can be fixed using hexagonal head screws (tools included in the package) - see photo.
Furthermore, the distance can be varied in depth starting from the fixing screw under the machine (it can slide on a 1.5cm slot).
