The Cokin 062 Filter is a special application filter that has a moderate degree of diffusion surrounding a clear central area. It is used to help isolate the main subject, held sharp in the clear center while diffusing a distracting background, especially in situations where a long lens and depth-of-field differentiation aren't possible. It is ideal for portraits or product applications.

This filter works best with standard to telephoto lenses and the sharpness of the centre spot will depend on the lens aperture settings (reducing the aperture will sharpen the centre spot).
