" History of the 20th Century " was a major undertaking published by Purnell, chronicling the history of the 20th century from 1900 to 1969.

It came out as a series of 128 weekly magazines from 1967 to 1970.

Eminent British historians A.J.P.Taylor and J.M.Roberts acted as editor-in-chief and General Editor respectively for the series. The list of contributors is a veritable who's who of notable historians.

83 issues, all in very good condition and richly illustrated in colour, are available for sale individually at €2 each or €100 for the whole lot.
